"With the financial support of the Players Chapel Program, The 1st Quarter
curriculum is able to bring exciting and necessary life skills to our youth.
The curriculum meets the kids "where they are" in their journey of life.
This curriculum helps youth make hard right decisions
instead of easy wrong decisions. Every parent and teenager should look at
this curriculum as a "family game plan for life".

"With the support of the Players Chapel Program, the 1st Quarter is able to
provide an unprecedented and established curriculum that can be immediately
implemented with youth, that is based on Search Institute's 40-Asset Model.
I have been active in my community for a number of years in utilizing the
Search Institute "Survey of Attitudes and Behaviors" and serving on the
Board of Directors of the local Boys and Girls Club. It is refreshing to
finally see a curriculum that does not have to be designed in-house by each
organization looking to build positive assets in their youth. At a personal
level, my 14-year-old son has just completed participation in this
curriculum at his school and it was the first time that he was actually
excited to learn about "value issues"! I attribute his excitement to the
way the material is presented by reaching the kids "where they're at".
