Psalm 1:1-3
"Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat
of mockers. But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a
tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does
   prospers."

The Problems Facing Today's Youth

Today's young people face educational, societal and moral challenges that did not exist a generation ago. Sadly, today's adults have often neglected their leadership and mentoring responsibilities toward our youth, deciding instead to invest in our dreams and desires. We consider that:

· Over half of all marriages end in divorce leaving many kids/teens in single parent households without strong role models

· Even in two parent households, it is common for both parents to work, leading to "latchkey" kids

· Much of our society has turned away from the "spiritual" in the pursuit of the "material", leading to warped values

It's no surprise that the result has been . . .
. . . A resurgence in the abuse of drugs and alcohol

. . . An upswing in teenage and unwed pregnancies

. . . An increase in gangs and other criminal activity

. . . Teenage violence, particularly in schools

. . . An alarming rate of teen suicides

. . . Too many high school dropouts

We Believe Our Youth Can Prosper

With all of the outside trappings found in our culture, it is difficult for today's youth (even young Christians) to stay on track. We believe that young Christians need continual support from Christian organizations. The Players Chapel Program provides support to Christian individuals and organizations so that they can mentor our youth.

Honoring God in All We Do

Galatians 5:22-23
"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self
control. Against such things there is no law."

As a Christian organization, we serve to honor God always. As such, we follow biblical principles for conducting business. Simply stated, we strive to always honor our commitments and to act with integrity and honesty in all that we do.
