The Players Chapel Program raises money through two primary methods:

· Fund raising activities including golf tournaments, dinners, auctions and former player speaking engagements.

· Tax deductible donations from individuals and organizations

The Power of Professional Athletes

PCP has a close association with many former and current professional athletes, primarily from the NFL. As a matter of fact, our Board of Directors has always included at least one NFL player. We use this platform of professional athletics to increase our appeal in fundraising efforts. Additionally, these Christian athletes are often able to give their testimonies and not only raise awareness and funds, but also change lives.

At PCP, we believe that everything we have belongs to God and handling God's money is an awesome responsibility. Therefore, our goal is to always be the most effective stewards possible. We accomplish this through:

· keeping our overheads low. Most of our staff members are volunteers. Our goal is to keep administrative costs at less than 5% of revenues

· being selective in the organizations we support. We must agree with their mission and they must demonstrate that they 1.) meet the goals of their mission and 2.) are effective financial stewards.
